Our Investment Strategy:
We follow simple rules:
High demand in Battery Metals
The current trends of decarbonization and electrification of the transport system lead to high commodity prices due to a structural deficit that will most likely remain for the next decade.
Focus on junior explorers & established producers
They typically target one key commodity, are easy to understand businesses. They offer an attractive risk reward balance.
Only invest in stocks with serious potential
Finding companies that are trending is easy but finding companies with the potential to multiply is hard and it takes a lot of research to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Actively manage risk
We assess sector concentration, commodity, currency, inflation & interest, volatility in equities, operational performance, trends in battery technology and government regulation.
Company due diligence
Prior to any investment we examine management, assets, financial strength, ESG, country risk, ownership and confidence. Once we conclude a positive result, we define an entry point.
Market capitalisation matters
The reason we are not interested in blue chip stocks is that the there is plenty of analyst coverage and the majority of companies are fully valued. The chances to find companies that the market hasn’t valued correctly is slim.
